A Practical Guide to CRM
Published in Paperback by CMP Books (15 June, 2002)
Authors: Janice Reynolds and Jancie Reynolds
Average review score:

A hearty Recommendation
The author has clearly explained CRM, its premise, it application within the workplace, and its components, processes and technical underpinnings. The book provides the reader with a coherent definition and then backs it up with a CRM action plan that provides a distinct link to business essentials within the scope of a concise understanding of the broad range of processes that it takes to implement CRM. The author does a great job of explaining the necessity of bringing together the business, its processes and technology and does so in a very down to earth manner (no technospeak). The book then provides the reader with a very clear diagram of what is needed to bring a specific CRM application to fruition.

This book provides a very balanced picture of CRM. So if you need to understand CRM, its value, how it relates to business processes and what it takes to implement it, this book is for you. The checklists are invaluable and it gives you basically everything needed for a successful CRM implementation.

There are Many Reasons to Buy this Book
The book should be on the reference shelf of any manager or executive contemplating, implementing or working with CRM since it does a wonderful job of covering the business issues and technical parameters and requirements of CRM. For example, the author goes into considerable detail about how and why CRM is important to meeting business requirements and devotes many pages to the vendor and partner selection process. Furthermore, the book covers CRM from not only the IT viewpoint, but also from the departmental manager and executive office's perspective. I think it would be hard to find a book with a more comprehensive road map to CRM. Yet, the book is an easy read.

Should be on every Business Executive's Reading List
If you're involved in CRM, or are in a company that is considering CRM then this book should be your CRM Bible. It provides a thorough, well-organized treatise on all aspects of CRM. The author not only provides a full explanation of what CRM is and what CRM IS NOT, she also walks the reader through planning a business case, dealing with the human element, planning stages, project management and finally implementation. Every section is thoroughly covered, from RFP to vendor selection to outsourcing.

A Practical Guide to DSL: High-Speed Connections for Local Loop and Network
Published in Paperback by CMP Books (October, 2001)
Authors: Janice Reynolds, James Y. Bryce, and Jenice Reynolds
Average review score:

If you want to understand DSL
If you want to understand how DSL works and how to shop for a DSL provider, this is THE book to get. The authors do an excellent job of explaining DSL quickly and clearly. This is NOT one of those books written by a computer geek who understands the subject but doesn't understand how to explain it to others. After reading this book I understand how DSL works, and I was able to purchase DSL service to host a server for my business. For those who want to understand DSL but do not need to know ALL the technical details, this is the book to get.

Good Book
I work for a small law firm and I've been trying to convince the partners to install a DSL line (30 employees were sharing 4 analog lines for Internet service). After purchasing and reading this book I was able to cobble together a proposal (with judicious sections of the book attached) that convinced management to purchase DSL. Although I'm not a computer network professional (I'm a paralegal) I was able to install and set up sharing of the DSL service without calling in the expensive network consultant we normally use. The book made installation and sharing very easy.

Thanks to this book the personnel in my office can now get on and off the Internet any time they wish.

The author explained DSL, its advantages and disadvantages so clearly that even our most computer phobic partner had no trouble understanding what I was talking about.

Clearing the Jungle
I've been wrestling with DSL, Cable, Satellite, Wireless for many months. I wanted a high speed connection for my home but found digging through the confusing technology impossible. Then I found and read Ms. Reynolds book. She does a fantastic job of explaining DSL, what it is, how to get it, why you can't get it, etc. I am no longer confused. Thank you Ms. Reynolds!

BUY BUY without hesitation
best package -
book is thorough and explains all aspects there. it contains a glossary and new terminology is explained after every part of body and system exploration.
the attached atlas - shows all parts of the skeleton. it is handy - you can drag it with you anywhere while studying for exams. atlas has also references to book. shame it has only the skeleton and all body systems.
the book has two cd-roms attached - one in fron cover - let's you prepare sample exams in order to prepare you to passing the exams.
the other cd-rom - is the foundations - first cd in a series of some. book contains only the first - the foundations part. it has animation, pivtures and interactive explanations and also a glossary part. so you can postpon buying a dictionary for the beginning until you have some knowledge and know what dictionary will be best for you.
all in all - excelent package for an affordable price.
i haven't tried yet the website subscription offer.

Great textbook
I used this book for undergrad anatomy and physiology. It's extremely thorough and descriptive. However, it is written in an easy to comprehend language that makes studying a lot easier.
However, if you really want a great source for studying anatomy and physiology in undergrad, get the following books:
Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations by Patrick Leonardi (Volume 1 and Volume 2)
(ISBN: 0971999619) (ISBN: 0971999627)
These two study guides are a must for getting better grades on college exams. The author of these study guides knows the type of questions that are asked on tests. For example, my friend took another anatomy and physiology class at another college and used the Anatomy and Physiology Study Guides by Patrick Leonardi and also got very good grades in his class. In addition, I got an A in my anatomy and physiology class at a different college after using the Anatomy and Physiology Study Guide by Patrick Leonardi.

Great Reference Book
I purchased this book for my first year in dental school. So far, it has been a great reference book. I can honestly say I have referenced it more than any other book purchased this year. Every chapter is easy to read and contains many wonderful and detailed pictures. Tortora and Grabowski do a great job making the material thorough yet concise. For first year dental students, I would definitely recommend it.

Sammy and the Dinosaurs
Published in Hardcover by Orchard Books (September, 1999)
Authors: Ian Whybrow and Adrian Reynolds
Average review score:

ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! We're looking to buy.
My 4 year old son Sammy and I checked this out at the local library (we're suckers for Sammy books) and immediately fell in love. Definitely one of the cutest books I've ever read. The Sammy in the story cleans out the attic with Gran, and they find some old dinosaurs. Everyone thinks they're junk but Sammy! His sister even gets a bowl of cereal on her head because she say so. Sammy cleans them up and goes to the library to learn their names so he can call them when he needs to, and they whisper "Thank you." Knowing their names becomes especially helpful when Sammy leaves them behind after going on a train ride (MY Sammy's true love). We love this story so much, now we're looking to buy it and read the other Sammy books as well.

charming story
This story is really enjoyable. Young readers would love the story though it may appeal more to boys than girls because of the dinosaurs theme. The illustrations are very well done. I definitely recommend this book for young kids.

Sammy and the Dinosaurs
A young boy discovers some toy dinosaurs; cares for them, learns more about them, and they "come alive" for him. Simple story line, great dinosaur illustrations in color, with accompanying names. Recommended for K through the 2nd grade.

Self-Liberation
Published in Paperback by Snow Lion Pubns (01 November, 2000)
Authors: Karma-Glin-Pa, Namkhai Norbu, Rigdzin Karma Lingpa, and John Myrdhin Reynolds
Average review score:

An answer for the restless mind
I discovered that upon reading this text, a part of my mind which was always seeking to understand this life had finally been satisfied! I do not consider myself a practicioner of buddhism, much less an expert, and yet what it had to say was clear and persuasive.(...)

Self-Liberation: Through Seeing with Naked Awareness
The only thing to add would be that this is a new addition of previously published "Self-Liberation: Through Seeing with Naked Awareness". The work itself is a terma(treasure teaching) of Guru Padmasambhava discovered by master Karma Lingpa. Personally, I found this book of a great value for the reason of a very lucid INSTRUCTION rather than just theory, which is sufficiently expounded, too. It gives a clear explanation as to why and how the principle of a spiritual teaching can be misunderstood and points out directly on the right method of application of this knowledge. I would recommend this book to everybody!

Terton Karma Lingpa
Terton Karma Lingpa is a highly respected authority in the Dzogchen Tradition. A present-day practitioner can not but appreciate the classics...

THIS WAS AN AWSOME BOOK. IT GAVE GOD ALL THE GLORY.
THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK. IT SHOWED HOW YOU CAN BE BRAVE WITH GODS HELP. YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, AND TOMMY DID JUST THAT. IT TAKES A VERY STRONG CHRISTIAN BROTHER TO DO GODS WILL ALWAYS IN THEIR LIFE. GOD BLESS YOU TOMMY.

An awesome peak at God's work in emergency situations.
Tommy Neiman's Sirens for the Cross presents an extraordinary view of what rescue workers face every day. This illustrated book shares true stories about people who are not only in need of emergency treatment, but spiritual treatment as well. Neiman vividly shares how God has greatly used him to save lives and souls for the Kingdom. Definitely a "must read" book for anyone desiring to see God's hand at work in the midst of life-threatening situations.

An inspiring book written by a true follower of our Lord
An exciting adventure in real life following this paramedic to situations that we only read about. His role is not only to help save the victims and administer life saving medical attention but also to act in a soul saving mode spiritually. A truly awe inspiring book based on this young mans personal experiences. I know our God is with us at ALL times.

Admiral John H. Towers: The Struggle for Naval Air Supremacy
Published in Hardcover by United States Naval Inst. (December, 1991)
Author: Clark G. Reynolds
Average review score:

Very well written and informative, highly recommended!!
As webmaster for the USS Towers (DDG-9) website, it was a significant pleasure to find such a well-researched and extremely well-written text about the man for which our ship was named. I never realized that the Navy had pilots before they had planes, or that 'Anchor's Away' was written for the USNA graduation ball of 1906! There is a great deal of naval history in this wonderfully done book. I would highly recommend this item to anyone that desires to learn more about naval history, while at the same moment being entertained by a extremely talented author.

An excellent biography of an under recognized individual
Reynolds provides a thorough and complete biography of a man who made major contributions to the Allied success in the Second World War. Towers, an early advocate of air power, struggled for recognition and promotion between the wars. His administrative ability during the war was largely responsible for the fact that the right aircraft were produced and delivered. This book is not about tactics. The market is flooded with books about the battles. This is a book which describes the nuts and bolts of putting airpower to work. Well researched, thoroughly documented, entirely typical of Dr. Reynolds.

All the Better to See You With!
Published in School & Library Binding by Concept Books (April, 1993)
Authors: Margaret Wild, Pat Reynolds, and Kathy Tucker
Average review score:

Positive Outlook
This is the only book I've found to have only a positive outlook on getting glasses. My daughter was rather young when we discovered she needed glasses and she didn't need a hard to understand book with a lot of negative connotation around having to wear glasses (although this book is great for kids of all ages). This book was just perfect. Since it puts only a positive spin on getting glasses we were able to actually get excited during our week-long wait before her glasses were ready. There should be more books out there like this one that completely avoid anything negative about having to wear glasses. After all, being able to see better is awesome!

All is better when you see!
Kate is a quiet child who is having trouble with her vision. Since she has several more boisterous siblings, she is often overlooked. When she gets lost at the beach her parents finally figure out that she can't see. They take her to an eye doctor who prescribes her a pair of glasses. This is a wondeful book. The illustrator draws what Kate sees so that the reader can appreciate her blurry vision. The book also addresses the fact that visual acuity can influence a child's behavior. Kate's quiet behavior may be due to being one of many children, but it is definitely exacerbated by her myopia. when Kate visits the eye doctor, there are many pieces of ophthalmic equipment in the room. Items such as a lensometer, a trial lens kit, and a phoropter lend authenticity to the office. I'm impressed that the eye doctor is trial frame refracting Kate in order to tweak her prescription. The rest of the book details the week wait that Kate endures before she receives her glasses. A lovely reference to "The Little Red Riding Hood" closes the book. "All the better to see you with!!"

The Architecture of New York City: Histories and Views of Important Structures, Sites, and Symbols, Revised Edition
Published in Paperback by John Wiley & Sons (15 April, 1994)
Author: Donald Martin Reynolds
Average review score:

wonderful
This is a wonderful book that extensively covers the architecture of buildings in New York, from past to present. Full of interesting background information. I can recommend this book to anyone that is interested in New York architecture. Unfortunately, photographs are kept to an essential minimum. Other than that, it was everyting I hoped for.

A good book for a visitor to NYC
I bought this book a few days before my first visit to New York City. However, just reading very first part of this book gave me good knowledge of both history and architectures of NYC.

This book starts with the born of New York City in 17th century, and covers many famous (and not so famous) architectures with about 200 photos taken by the author. It covers Georgian influence of 18th Century, Greek revival of 19th century, the Chicago school...etc. The Art Deco Skyscrapers, such as the Empire State building and the Chrysler building are well described. A whole chapter is devoted to Rockefeller Center. The history of MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) is interesting...

For me, this book seems to have some small shortcomings. This book lacks "up to date" information. (This revised edition was first published in 1994.) Also, as a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, I hope Guggenheim Museum have been covered more.
